Michelangelo the Divine

Exhibition “Michelangelo, the Divine”. Michelangelo Buonarroti (1475 – 1564), one of the very few Western artists who needs no introduction. Considered the greatest living artist in his lifetime, he was not only a brilliant painter, but also an outstanding sculptor and architect, and his paintings and sculptures are ranked amongst the most famous creations in western history.

In this exhibition visitors will have the chance to see life-size replicas of some of Michelangelo’s most iconic statues, within a scale replica of the Sistine Chapel ceiling, works that would require days of travel in a dozen museums around the world and can be seen all together in one place, so to learn more about the painter, the architect and the sculptor, Michelangelo.
